Do I need a character?
We require our costumed members to choose a historical character who lived
in, or traveled through, Sacramento during the historical period we cover
(1848 to 1870). A "generic" character such as a merchant, dressmaker,
farmer, etc., is acceptable on a limited basis. We also expect reasonable
authenticity.
We also accept non-costumed members for those who choose to work "behind-the-scenes"
doing research, administrative support, etc.
