Side-by-side separate round barrels are 3 3/4" in length and .38 caliber. Barrels are light gray in color with some faint light brown twist pattern present. Frame is of brass with light scroll engraving on either side and on the top. Engraving is sharp. A Belgian proof mark is present on the left side of the frame. Serial number 4001 is stamped on the right side of the frame. Double triggers are housed in a wide steel triggerguard. Side-by-side hammers are enclosed in the boxlock style frame. Right hammer clicks up nicely but the left hammer will not stand on full cock. One piece checkered and carved walnut grip is in fine condition. Steel compartment is housed on the bottom of the butt with a hinged shell type door.

Side-by-side round barrels are joined by a steel rib and are 4" in length. Barrels are each bored approximately .32 caliber. Coloration overall is dull gray with some light pitting on the barrel group. The barrels are marked on the top rib "BRUCE & DAVIS" and "CAST STEEL." The serial number is stamped on top of the rib just ahead of the hammers B.1954. Steel frame is lightly engraved on either side with engraving being fairly faint due to wear. Double hammers are enclosed in the frame and are operated by a single trigger and the action works well. Two piece bag shaped walnut grips are in very good condition. A single steel thimble beneath the barrel houses a non-original wooden ramrod.

Caliber .38 with a 4" fluted and octagonal barrel. The barrel holds two loads which are loaded one on top of the other and fired by two hammers which direct the fire from a percussion cap to two different positions within the breech of the barrel. The barrel is brownish gray in color and scroll engraved on the right side and stamped "LINDSAY'S YOUNG AMERICA MAN'F'D.BY/LINDSAY MAN'FG CO./NEW YORK." Left side of the barrel is engraved with a stand of arms including the American flag. Engraving is only lightly worn and markings are very sharp. Brass frame has nice age and does not show any abuse. The left side of the frame is nicely engraved with a simple white-tail deer which is fairly well done. Traces of some engraving are present on the right side of the frame but that engraving is worn off. Two piece walnut grips are in fine condition with traces of original varnish. Action works well.
