With folding bayonet located on the right side of the barrel. Overall length is 8". The round barrel is 2 ½" long. Steel frame with center hammer. Left side of the frame is engraved in an oval with flags "LONDON." Light border engraving is present around the triggerplate and along the tang. Caliber is .48. Spring loaded bayonet located on the right side of the barrel is opened by means of a small spring loaded catch on the right side of the frame. Bayonet does spring into place but the locking loop on the side of the barrel is broken. One piece walnut grip. Early style British proof marks are stamped on the bottom of the frame and the bottom of the frame and the barrel are each stamped with the number 1. Barrel does unscrew for loading.
