Overall length of 10 3/4". The round barrel is 5 1/8" long and has a turned decorative ring approximately at it's mid point. The barrel is mostly brown in color. The barrel is engraved with a stand-of-arms motif with some gold inlay present. This engraving is moderately worn with some loss to the decorative gold inlay. The percussion lockplate measures 3 ½" long and appears to be a conversion from flintlock. Lockplate is smooth with a rounded profile and works well. Coloration is brown. The stock is mounted with iron furniture comprising the tined buttcap, triggerguard and sideplate. All metal parts are brown. Ramrod thimbles are present beneath the barrel but no ramrod is present. The short ramrod channel has molded edges. In addition, relief carving surrounds the forward finial of the triggerguard. A rose is carved into the stock at the rear of the breechplug tang. A decorative coat-of-arms inlay is present on top of the wrist and appears to be of pewter.
